Our belief is that investments should be carefully considered by our clients.

The market place offers investors many ways of placing and holding their investment with their adviser. This may vary to how much involvement and advice you consider needing at the initial investment and life of the investment.
Speak to our Exeter IFA team to find out more.
Generally speaking, the market offers four levels of investment services:
Advisory Dealing - A service where investment recommendations are made, but limited to trade ideas. It does not offer advice on portfolio structure or further monitoring of the suitability of the investment.
Advisory Portfolio Service - A service where the overall structure of the portfolio is advised on and suitable proposals are made from time to time. The portfolio is monitored on an on-going basis and regular reporting is provided. Actions are only taken when advised and agreed on with the client.
Discretionary Management Service – A service where the investment portfolio is managed for the investor, where the adviser will monitor on-going and make decisions.
Execution Only - A service for orders are placed without offering any advice.
Our belief is that clients should carefully consider how much they would like to engage with the investment process before deciding on which level of investment service is most appropriate for their circumstances.
